Mad
Meidou is a mermaid boss in the Nintendo Entertainment System version of the game Wario's Woods. She is the third boss overall that Toad faces in the NES version of the game. She is depicted to having blue hair (green hair in her original sprite) and a red tail in her official artwork. She wears a crown, but it is unknown as to whether or not she is the ruler of anything or if she belongs to any form of royalty. She also has a pearl necklace. She has the ability to temporarily freeze Toad's fairy helper, Wanda, during battle. While she participates in helping Wario in stopping Toad from saving the Peaceful Forest, it is unknown of what type of relation the two share (a trait similar to the other bosses of the NES version of the game).
While neither she nor any of the other bosses of the NES version of Wario's Woods reappear in the SNES version of the game (excluding Wario), she bears a strong resemblance to the mermaid boss from the SNES version of Wario's Woods, Aqualea.
