Super Nostalgic Entertainment System
Template:Minigame-infobox Super Nostalgic Entertainment System is one of 9-Volt's microgames in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. In it, the player must insert a cartridge into a Nintendo gaming console. In the North American version of the game, the cartridge goes into an SNES, while in the Japanese version features the Famicom and is entitled Family Computer (the full version of the console's name). The SNES was left unchanged in the PAL version, even though the design of the PAL region SNES is based on the Japanese Super Famicom.
Gameplay
The player must insert a cartridge into the console, with the challenge stemming from the fact that the cartridge is moving around. The gameplay is identical in all regions, regardless of whether an SNES or a Famicom is involved.
- 1st level difficulty: The cartridge moves left and right, above the SNES.
- 2nd level difficulty: The cartridge is spinning in a circle above the SNES slot. It must be inserted when it is turned the proper way.
- 3rd level difficulty: The cartridge is nowhere to be found, but eventually quickly flies above the SNES from off-screen.
Trivia
- "Super Nostalgic Entertainment System" is a pun on "Super Nintendo Entertainment System".
- One of the cartridges seen is Super Mario World in Western versions and Super Mario Bros. in the Japanese version.
- The ground theme of Super Mario Bros. is used as the background music in all versions.
