Super Mario Galaxy 2

My Top 5 Best SMG2 Levels

1. Search for the Toad Brigade Captain - Fluffy Bluff Galaxy. Great World 1 level that introduces the Cloud Flower.

2. Throwback Throwdown - Boss Blitz Galaxy. Excellent boss fights that introduces bosses from the previous game. The speed run is a bit annoying, though.

3. Luigi's Purple Coin Chaos - Mario Squared Galaxy. Some people say its hard, but it actually isn't (and is really fun) if you follow the path given by the Cosmic Spirit.

4. Tall Trunk's Big Slide - Tall Trunk Galaxy. Really fun; excellent music!

5. Return of the Whomp King - Throwback Galaxy.

My Mario reviews

Super Mario Galaxy 2

An excellent game. Great levels, great power-ups, and its great how the adventure continues even after simply saving Princess Peach and beating Bowser. Yoshi is an excellent addition. Currently I have 226 stars. I don't especially like Spring Mario, but thats just personal opinion...

New Super Mario Bros Wii

Since I suck at gaming, I haven't even managed to beat World 2/5. :P Yeah, that's....******. (I don't use Super Guide) Anyway, if I was to review what I've done so far, it deserves four stars. I might give it a 5 as I progress further into the game.

Mario Tennis: Power Tour

I've beaten the game, and had an absolute blast doing so. And yet, to be honest, if it wasn't for the Power Shots, it shouldn't have been a Mario game. Almost the entire plot has nothing to do with the Marioverse, and there aren't even much Mario characters. Everything else is amazing, though. So its still a 5.

Yoshi's Island DS

Incredible diversity, great graphics, and there's an actual plot. Absolutely no complaints. Yet another 5.

Yoshi Touch and Go

Sure, there's four modes, but it's still a bit short and the plot is a dud. But at least it makes up for it by making use of the stylus.

Super Mario Galaxy

I actually got this game after I got Super Mario Galaxy 2 (when I finished the sequel and got too obsessed with it) and I must say this game is a really enjoyable one. There's a huge variety of galaxies and powerups, and the Comet Observatory is MUCH better than Starship Mario. Another masterpiece

Of course, there are things which this game doesn't do as well as the sequel (it is acceptable, when you consider the release date, of course). The biggest problem is that the game's camera system (not in all galaxies, of course) is sometimes located more above Mario instead of behind him, which is a bit annoying at times. I know some folks would obviously disagree, but I found this game a lot harder than its sequel, although even though this is a bit frustrating it doesn't stop it from being fun at all.
