Sprayer
The Bug-Spray Gun is Stanley the Bugman's the weapon of choice throughout his scarce appearances, as well as Mr. Game & Watch's primary weapon in the Super Smash Bros. series.
Appearances
Greenhouse
In its first appearance, the Bug-Spray Gun can be sprayed an unlimited number of times. It is used to kill the worms and spiders that try to destroy Stanley's flowers before they do so.
Donkey Kong 3
After Donkey Kong breaks into Stanley's greenhouse and stirs up nests of bugs, Stanley must use the weapon against him and the bees that will try to destroy his vegetables. Once again it can be sprayed an unlimited number of times.
Donkey Kong 3 (Game & Watch)
In the same fashion as in Donkey Kong 3, Donkey Kong stirs up nests of bugs, so Stanley is required to use his Bug-Spray Gun to combat Donkey Kong, who now has one of his own. The Bug-Spray Guns now spray water bubbles, which trap the bugs and cause them to fly towards the opponent. The Guns have to constantly be refilled by a dripping pipe nearby. While refilling the Bug-Spray Gun, the player will be left defenseless.
Super Smash Bros. series
In the second installment of the series, the Bug-Spray Gun belongs to Mr. Game & Watch, who uses it as his standard attack. The attack performed by the Gun is called Greenhouse and it deals 1%-3% of damage.[1].
The Greenhouse attack returned for the third game in the series
Game & Watch Gallery Advance
In a remake of the Game & Watch version of Donkey Kong 3, Mario uses the Bug-Spray Gun to push fireballs and Boos towards Donkey Kong. Once again it sprays bubbles and needs to be refilled with water.
