Koopa The Quick is a Gargantuan Koopa that Mario must race for a Power Star in Super Mario 64. He also appears in Super Mario 64 DS. The secret to his speed is his Supa Troopa Koopa sneakers (from the Shells Inc co.).
Il Piantissimo, a foot-racer in Super Mario Sunshine, plays a similar role to Koopa the quick except Mario had to race him in most levels and that Piantissimo ran and jumped the same way Mario does.
