Yukiotoko[1] (雪男) are enemies in Wario Land 4 that appear in the levels of different passages. They are pudgy Yeti creatures whose nose is constantly running. Yukiotoko normally move back and forth, but when Wario comes near, they stop to walk and fire an icy breath at him that moves horizontally. When hit, Wario becomes Frozen Wario. Yukiotoko can be defeated by any of Wario's attacks and can be grabbed and thrown as well when they are stunned. For defeating a Yukiotoko, Wario is rewarded with a Bronze Coin. Unlike other enemies that cause a special status, a defeated Yukiotoko does not respawn when Wario re-enters a room.
In the level Fiery Cavern, it is shown that they are related to Iwao, since the latter creatures will become Yukiotoko when Wario jumps on the Frog Switch and the temperature radically changes.
Their name is Japanese for Yeti. 雪男(Yukiotoko) literally translates to "Snow Man".
