Short for "Super Mario Wikify", this PipeProject specifically asks for anyone to a page – any page – and wikify it, Super Mario style. However, our standards are not as strict as Wikipedia's. This isn't exactly your normal PipeProject, but rather a reminder on what's considered standard here. Go to Special:Random and follow the guidelines if you don't want to permanently join (see below) but want to help with a few articles.

Shortcut

Bookmark http://www.mariowiki.com/index.php/PP:SMW or when you log in, type in the search box PP:SMW.

Goals

Short and simple: SMWikify as many pages as possible. This means:

  1. Italicizing game titles and link them if they exist here.
  2. Get rid of you's: change them to Mario, Luigi, player, etc
  3. Bold the article title as the first word(s) of the page; thus bold-italicize for game pages
  4. Internally link to as many pages as possible, and only once a page
  5. Add as many categories that fit the article as possible
  6. Add links to the article, to make sure it is not orphaned.
  7. Add templates that internally link to the article
  8. Identify stubs
  9. Spelling, grammar, punctuation fixes. This is not a l337 \/\/!|<!, or lol, u, 4, and other internet slang. Everyone makes a mistake sometimes, and that's what the minor edit checkbox is for.
  10. Bonus: Expand on stubs
  11. Bonus: Create good articles for most wanted pages, not one-sentence stub ones.
  12. Bonus: Un-Wikipedia-fy articles. That is, take articles or parts copied directly from Wikipedia and rewrite them.

If you regularly italicize game titles or any combo of the other goals above, as in go to Random Page and fix whatever's possible (or whenever you encounter a page with problems), you're very hard-core at SMWikifying and should put your name below. Structure

The templates and categories vary, so the only thing to do is to be sure to mark edits as minor, unless extensive grammar and spelling fixing is involved.

Part Of

With the exception of Un-Wikipedia-fying, all articles are part of this project, so there will be no {{partofpipe}} specifics for this PipeProject.

Userbox

SMWikify's Userbox Tower

MWPP

Adding this userbox is entirely optional.

The code is:
{{userbox|border=blue|mainbkgd=#E0E8FF|codebkgd=#99B3FF|codecolor=black|code='''SMW'''<br><span style="font-size:8pt">MWPP</span>|msg=This user is part of the '''[[PipeProject:SMWikify|Super Mario Wikify PipeProject]]'''.}}

Be sure to add {{userboxtop}} and {{userboxbottom}} if this is your first time using a Userbox Tower.
