The Great Deflate is a 2-vs.-2 mini-game in Mario Party 4. Players must Ground Pound an inflatable, blue Thwomp made of rubber enough to completely deflate it. The higher the jump before the Pound, the more air gets deflated. The first team to completely deflate their Thwomp wins.
It is unknown if the inflatable Thwomps appearing in this mini-game are organic, conscious beings or simply inflatable toys made especially for the mini-game. However, they do make a grunting noise upon hitting the ground at the start of the game, plus they have a full face.
