Standard Karts are regular karts used in the Mario Kart series:
- The karts in Super Mario Kart were all standard.
- The karts in Mario Kart 64 were all standard.
- The karts in Mario Kart: Super Circuit were all standard.
- The characters in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! had their own karts.
- The characters in Mario Kart DS each had 3 different karts. Two of there own and one standard.
- In Mario Kart Wii, the karts came in three different sizes:
- Standard Kart S, for small characters.
- Standard Kart M, for medium characters.
- Standard Kart L, for large characters.
