Shredder is a mysterious attack used by some bosses, such as Culex and Smithy in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. The attack envelops the player's party with a bright pink light and eliminates any beneficial status effects on the team such as ATTACK UP! or DEFENSE UP!.
