Snipe For The Picking is a Battle mini-game in Mario Party 8 and a single-player minigame in Test for the Best. The name is a pun on the phrase "Ripe for the picking", which is a time when fruit can be picked. This is also poking fun at this by the fact that the targets are shaped like apples.
Introduction
The 1st player enters a shooting range, where Ukikis are turning gears. The player then has a shot which dosen't count, then the game starts.
Gameplay
In this game the players are in a small room filled with gears that are being cranked by an Ukiki, where apple shaped targets will slide in front of them and they need to shoot smaller targets attached to them, that give the player ten, 30, or 100 points. Whoever has the most points after all the targets wins.
Ending
The losers are carried off by Ukikis, while the winner does the victory pose.
Trivia
- The name is a pun on "Sniper for the army", and "Ripe for the picking".
