Slime is a species as well as a character in Itadaki Street DS. The Slime is a mascot for the Dragon Quest series, as well as an fairly common enemy, much like the Goombas.
Slime Mask, Slime Suit and Slime Maracas are collectible items that can be equipped on customizable characters.
Slime is set to reappear in Mario Sports Mix for the Nintendo Wii as a playable character. It is classified as a Tricky-type character, and is the only character not from the Mario or Final Fantasy games (not counting the customizable Mii).
