A Best Badge is a badge that is won in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour, and helps to unlock new courses and characters in Mario Golf: Advance Tour. They are color coded by the score:
- Birdie Badge – Blue
- Eagle Badge – Green
- Albatross Badge – Red
- Hole-in-One Badge – Yellow
The best badges can be used to unlock Wario, Luigi, Waluigi and Bowser in Mario Golf: Advance Tour. This can be done using the GameCube Game Boy Advance Link Cable. It is also used to unlock Boo in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour.
