Sliding Catch is a fielding ability in Mario Superstar Baseball. It allows the character to dive farther than usual to catch a ball. The Sliding Catch only activates occasionally, about half of the time. It is signified by a sparkling light surrounding the character's baseball glove. Characters who can use the ability include Mario, Princess Daisy, Wario, Koopa, and Dry Bones.
The ability is renamed Super Dive in Mario Super Sluggers, with little to no difference in terms of game mechanics. Template:MBSM
