Seer Terror is a Rare mini-game in Mario Party 6.

Gameplay

The player pulls one of the ropes dangling from the ceiling. More often than not, it will be something that harms the player, greatly amusing Bowser, seated at a table across from them. The mini-game never shows up in multiplayer, so it is more a fun little diversion than anything else.

Trivia

  • This minigame's name is a pun on the phrase "sheer terror", meaning "great fear". It also involves the word "seer", an alternate term for "fortune teller".
  • Falling basins are a popular motif in Japanese slapstick comedy which likely led to their inclusion in this mini-game.
