Nurse Toadstool is Toadstool as a nurse, just like Mario is a doctor in the Dr. Mario games. Nurse Toadstool wears pink clothing and a pair of sandals, as seen in the artwork. Nurse Toadstool doesn't have major roles and she is barely seen in the game.
In the Club Nintendo comic "Süße Weihnachten", Nurse Toadstool can be seen assisting Dr. Mario.
In Super Smash Bros. Melee during Event 35: Time for a Checkup, Dr. Mario is accompanied by Peach as she is garbed in white and depicted as a nurse. They are apparently doing a checkup on Luigi.
