The point of the game is to knock the other player off the quadrilateral, fighting platform they are both on. To move, the player press both the Control Stick, and the C Stick in the same direction. Whoever bumps the other player off by bumping into him/her would win. Every few seconds, the [[Thwomp]] in the upper center of the stage, would thwomp down, making the rim of the platform fall off. There is even a time were the Thwomp thwomps so much, that only the middle part of the platform is left.
