A Flipswitch is a type of switch that appears in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. They start off as blue panels with a ? on them. The switch will turn yellow and have an ! on it when stepped on, but they will turn back to a blue ? if they are stepped on again. When all of the Flipswitches are stepped on in a specific area, they turn green and an event or change will then occur. A galaxy called the Flipswitch Galaxy has a planet made out of Flipswitches.
