A Chance Cube is a item that appears in the Wii game, Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are found in numerous levels and one can be found on the surface of Starship Mario and near below his right ear. Chance Cubes are depicted as a cube with pictures of a 1-Up Mushroom, a coin, a Star Bit, and Bowser's face. When stationary, it will just be floating in place. When Mario does a Star Spin on it, the cube will fly back and land in a similar fashion to a die. Whatever picture is face up is what Mario will earn.
