Template:Species-infobox The Flipbugs are enemies in Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are small, winged creatures with Mandibug-style faces found mostly in the Honeyhive Galaxy, Gold Leaf Galaxy, and in Super Mario Galaxy 2, the Puzzle Plank Galaxy. When the player approaches, the insect will most likely flee, and after a short period of time they fall onto their backs in fear and are vulnerable to attack. If Mario walks up to one while flying, he will remain unharmed. However, if approached by Bee Mario, they unfold their wings and slowly hover after him. This could possibly be because they are insects and are therefore attracted to Mario in Bee (another insect) form.
