Template:Galaxybox The Sea Slide Galaxy is a galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. This galaxy is similar to the Loopdeeloop Galaxy but this galaxy goes in a circle and doesn't have a current. This galaxy also has many islands.
Planets/Areas
Sea Slide
This is the main planet. It consists of a starting islands, a lighthouse, a cannon island, a cave area, a water-driven machine, and a mangrove tree. All of this is connected by a stream of water. The main inhabitants are penguins. They hold races there every once and a while. When Mario first gets there Guppy is invading the planet.
Penguru's Island Planet
Penguru's Island Planet is a small planet inhabited by crabs and an elder penguin. It floats in the middle of sea slide.
Hurry-Scurry Planet
This is a big planet that is made of green shrinking platforms that has a black hole in the center of the planet. Mario must collect all the music notes on it to turn the black hole into a Power Star. This planet is identical to the Hurry-Scurry Planet in the Hurry-Scurry Galaxy, except that this one has more music notes.
Toad Brigade Spaceship
Located next to the Green Platform Planet, it is accessible by cannon.
Missions
Going After Guppy
Mario starts on a small piece of land holding the Toad Brigade captain and several penguins complaining about Guppy. In order to get things going, the player must confront Guppy, in which he challenges Mario to see who has the better flippers by having the player go through all eight rings that Guppy sets. Once Mario had gone through all eight rings, Guppy sticks to his word, and gives Mario a Power Star.

Faster Than a Speeding Penguin
An easy level where the player has to race a group of penguins around the Sea Slide. The player can win easily by grabbing a shell as soon as possible. But, the player must not crash into obstacles during the race too many times, or the penguins will easily catch up.
Finishing this level will make the Sand Spiral Galaxy available via a hungry Luma.
Enemies
- Racing Penguins (cannot hurt Mario)
Planets Visited
The Silver Stars of the Sea Slide
In this mission Mario needs to collect 5 silver stars from around the galaxy. They are mostly in high places, as is the highest is in the middle of the sky which can only be reached by a cannon. The most helpful way of finding the stars is by talking to various characters. Also it is easier to look for the silver stars as Bee Mario.

Planets Visited
Underwater Cosmic Mario/Luigi Race
Mario starts of on an island. After the player takes a few steps Cosmic Mario will appear and then the race starts. As the name of the mission states, the player must jump into the water and race Cosmic Mario to the Star. The trick is for Mario to do a Long Jump into the water and grab a Red Shell once Mario is in the water. Halfway through the race Cosmic Mario will jump out onto another small island, but Cosmic Luigi remained in the water at the same point. This is a chance for the player to catch up and get the star as Mario.
Enemies
None.
Planets Visited
Purple Coins by the Seaslide
Another easy, but long level where the player must collect all of the 100 Purple Coins in the galaxy. Mailtoad will tell the player there are no coins in the water, so this level will be easier as Bee Mario. Once all the coins are collected, the Power Star will appear on top of the castle flagpole.

Hurry, He's Hungry
The player needs to start this mission on Silver Stars by the Seaslide because it is a secret star. The Hungry Luma by the cannon wants 40 Star Bits. Once it is fed the right amount of Star Bits it will transform into a planet exactly like the one in the Hurry-Scurry Galaxy, except this time there are notes on every space. After the player collects all of the notes, Mario will get a Power Star. Plus you do not need to launch star there. The Cannon can shoot there. And it is possible to shoot into the black hole of the middle of the planet
Enemies
None.
