Whimps are minature Whomps that appear in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They only appear at Throwback Galaxy in the mission Return of the Whomp King. In the second phase of the Whomp King battle he will stomp a foot to summon Whimps. After that, the Whimps instantly start chasing after Mario/Luigi. Once they get close enough, they fall face-down attempting to crush Mario or Luigi. Lukily, unlike other Whomps, they only take a point of Mario's health and don't give him an instant death. Also, they are more fragile than regular Whomps and break as soon as they attack meaning, to kill them all one of the plumbers has to do if to get a Whimp to attack.
