Jibberjays are bird-like creatures that make their appearance in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are orange-colored birds that appear in the Wild Glide Galaxy as NPCs who give information to Mario as to how to control Fluzzard. After earning the 43rd star in Beat Block Galaxy, they will send a letter to Mario challenge him to a race against their colorful species. They are later seen in Fleet Glide Galaxy.
