Lubba[1] is a Luma appearing in Super Mario Galaxy 2. He is the head honcho of the Lumas in the game, and is the Captain of Starship Mario. His ship was destroyed by a meteor launched at by Bowser, which causes all the Lumas on the ship to disperse throughout the galaxy and become separated from one another. Lubba aids and accompanies Mario in his quest to defeat Bowser. [2] As the captain of the mobile hub of the game and the leader of the Lumas, he more or less replaces Rosalina in this respect.
