Boogie Beam as a four player minigame.

Boogie Beam is a 4-player and Duel minigame in Mario Party DS. The players are standing on a billboard, which says the word dance in big letters at the top and has spotlights attached to it. On the cue of the music (which is a remix of the underground and overworld music from Super Mario Bros.), a spotlight will shine on some or all of the players. If the spotlight shines on the player, they must touch the yellow button. If the spotlight doesn't shine on the player, they must touch the purple button. At the end, the player with the most correct poses wins. They must touch them using the stylus. This game appears to take place during the night.

Controls

  • Stylus: Tap a pose

Ending

  • In the end, the player with the most points does their victory dance on the billboard.

Trivia

  • All players' spotlights will always light up on the last pose.
