Cosmic Clones are shadowy duplicates of Mario that appear in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Cosmic Clones are created once a certain point is reached in a galaxy and will follow behind Mario, performing every movement Mario makes. However like in Worm you cannot touch them, nor can they touch each other otherwise you will lose a life. they will dissappear after a certain task is completed.
Known Locations
- Fluffy Bluff Galaxy - They appear on the Pond Planet following Mario until he collects all five of the Star Chips.
- Unknown Galaxy involving a Purple Coin challenge (Seen above).
