- “Put your dukes up!”
- —Cloaker, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Cloaker is a shield and sword-wielding jester and a member of the Smithy Gang. He is also the partner-in-crime of Domino. Cloaker resides in Smithy's Factory with his gigantic pet snake, Earth Link.
During the events of Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Mario and his party encountered the pair of villains in Smithy's Factory. Cloaker and Domino challenged the heroes to a battle, and the duo proved to be formidable opponents. However, the key to their strength rested in their ability to fight as a team. As a pair, the two jesters could offset each others weaknesses. Domino was strong at magic attacks but physically weak, while Cloaker had high physical attack and defense but could not wield (or withstand) magic. Thus, Mario and his party focused their attacks on one of the jesters. With one villain gone, the other would recognize his own weaknesses and retreat. If Domino was defeated first, Cloaker would be forced to retreat to his pet snake, Earth Link. Master and pet electronically fused together, hoping their combined powers would be enough to defeat Mario. Ultimately, the effort was futile and both Cloaker and Earth Link were defeated by Mario and his allies.

Trivia
- Cloaker looks like an Arabian knight.
- Most likely by coincidence, Cloaker has a similar laugh to Beldam, a mini-boss from Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
