| That's a good question. I didn't know what one was either when I first joined. A sockpuppet is an alternate account. In other words, if you were to create an account while you were still using this one, you would have created a sockpuppet. It was announced in the forums, and after waiting for an extended amount of time -- we called in the cleanup, as mentioned in the Main Page (Steve removed it recently however). It seems that you haven't read the post in the forums. Hm. ;o
