Merge with Ultra Mushroom
I thikn this page should be merged with Ultra Shroom because the Ultra Shroom page already mentions these games. Note: this page was made for the Ultra Mushroom page talk but it redirects here.

Merge with Ultra Mushroom
- Dry Paratroopa (talk) Per proposal. I should've added this a long time ago *shrugs*.
- Zero777 (talk) I am Zero! Ultra Mushroom is a stub, it will be a good idea to merge the two. It will be a little tricky of how you're going to pull this off, but it could possibly work. Zero signing out.
Leave un-merged
- Baby Mario Bloops (talk) - Just because the name sounds the same, or they look alike doesn't mean that they have to be merged. They heal differently, they have different names, appear in different games, and most of all, aren't the same item!!!
- Fawfulfury65 (talk) Per BMB. Why don't we just merge Super Mushroom, Ultra Mushroom, and Max Mushroom together? They are all from the same series so it could work.
- War Of 1812 (talk) Per Baby Mario Bloops.
Comments
The names are similar, but they look differently from each other and heal a different amount of health. Mentioning the other in such detail is just speculation, so if they aren't merged I'd say cut it down to a single line or even just a trivia point. The only reason I'd support merging, besides sysop consensus, is if both items are on the same "tier" of healing-mushrooms. You know, both are the "fourth" most powerful healing mushroom in their respective games, which would be the only indication that they were meant to be the same/serve the same role. - Uhh... They look pretty similar to me... Both are green mushrooms. The only difference is the "U" on the Paper Mario one. .
- Stylistic choice, of course. Again, I won't support this unless they occupy close to or the actual tier in their respective games. If one Ultra really means "second-strongest mushroom in the game", and the other means "second-weakest", then they're likely not the same. Redstar 16:19, 26 December 2009 (EST)
I think that picture on the Ultra Mushroom page aren't Ultra Mushrooms, but 1-Up Mushrooms. Because, what I've seen in PiT (my bro has the EU version), is that the Mushrooms are categorized in three types; indicated with colors. Red ones are healing items (Normal Mushrooms), Green ones are reviving items (1-Up Mushrooms) and Yellow ones are items that heal everyone (Mushroom Drops). Ultra Mushrooms are healing items, so they should be red instead of green, since there are only two green Mushrooms in the game (1-Up Mushrooms and 1-Up Supers). rend (talk) (edits)
- Your color-coordinated categorization may old up in some media, but none that come to mind. The images are correct. Redstar 09:04, 30 December 2009 (EST)
- It IS so. By the way, it was never mentioned they appeared in Bowser's Inside Story, while there's an image of it. Another reason that those aren't Ultra Mushrooms. rend (talk) (edits)
- And if you REALLY don't believe it: HERE. This is my proof. rend (talk) (edits)
- Interesting. We'll have to look into this. Redstar 02:02, 1 January 2010 (EST)
- My brother has both the first and second games of M&L, and those are indeed 1-Ups. Also, that picture doesn't look ripped and edited. User:Dry Paratroopa/sig
- Someone had added the wrong image there. The picture in the Ultra Mushroom article now is what it really looks like. They do not look the same. Fawfulfury65 (talk)
- Ah, I stand corrected. I was simply looking at the picture on the wiki. My bad. Bloc Partier (talk)
