The whole of the game is to land on the landing pad, (apparently on the Moon), the closest the timer has for 0.00. Each player would have a mini-jet pack. If the were to press and hold A, (s)he would fall slower. The way people win is getting closet to exactly 0 on the timer, such as when one player gets 3.67, and the other one gets 2.96, the second player would win. If the timer ever goes below zero, it would still go by the same rules.

Lunar-tics is a duel minigame in Mario Party 6.

Introduction

In the introduction, the players jump from a rocket, activating their jet packs.

Gameplay

The object of the game is to land on the landing pad (apparently on the moon) as closely as possible to the moment the timer reaches 0.00. Each player has a jet pack. If (s)he presses and holds A, (s)he falls slower. The player with the time closest to 0.00 wins. If the timer ever goes below zero, it still goes by the same rules.

Strategy

From the beginning, if the player holds the A button down until the timer reads 3.50 and then releases the button, (s)he should land on the pad almost exactly at 0.00. Alternatively, (s)he can wait until 6.50 and then hold the button down until (s)he lands.

Trivia

  • This minigame's name is a pun on the word "lunatics."
