Template:Worldbox The Stone Head Mountains is the name of a mountainous area in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. This world region features many cliffs and rock structures. There are eight levels in this world, two of them being castle levels that are guarded by Morton Koopa Jr.. Various Mushroom Houses are also found around here, giving the player items such as Starmen, Mushrooms, and Propeller Mushrooms. On the map, there are Bullet Bill Blasters which continuously fire Bullet Bills. Mario and the gang can get attacked by them and be forced to play in the Enemy Course.

6-1 (Spike Mountain)
This level is pretty tough. There are ledges, rock climbing walls, Stone Spikes, and Bullet Bills here.
6-2 (Mountain Donuts)
This is an underground level, with many rotating circular platforms in it. Piranha Plants, Swoopers, Spinies, and at the end of the stage, Sledge Bro.s appear. This level also has some watery sections.
6-3 (Mountain Sewer System)
In this level, there are Mega Piranha Plants, Stalking Piranha Plants, and Buzzy Beetles. The level is an underground area with raising and lowering platforms which the Mega Piranha Plants are on top of. When the player sees a passageway that is blocked by brick blocks, he/she can break them and wall jump to get a Star Coin.
6-4 (Monty Mountain Rocks)
Monty Moles are a common sight in this course. The player will also be able to use Yoshi here.

The player faces Morton Koopa Jr. again in this castle. At times he'll pound the ground, which will cause two pillars to rise between him.
6-Ship
This level has the first appearance of Rocky Wrenches and the Hero Car. This is also where the player fights Bowser Jr. for the second time. Other dangers in this level are a series of wheels, which the player needs to jump on to advance. In Bowser Jr.'s fight, the player must climb into his/her own clown copter and knock Bowser Jr.'s Copter into the electric fence.
