Sprite of a Torpedo Ted being released from a torpedo tube in Super Mario World
A Skull Box, firing a Torpedo Ted.

Skull Boxes first appeared in Soda Lake in Super Mario World. They would fire Torpedo Teds at Mario. Much like Bill Blasters, the Skull Box cannot be destroyed. They returned, still invincible, in Super Princess Peach, and looked a bit more like Bill Blasters in Super Mario Galaxy, where they actually can be destroyed by leading a Torpedo Ted right back at them.
