Tongue Catch is an ability used by Yoshi in Mario Superstar Baseball and Mario Super Sluggers. It allows him to catch the ball with his tongue, which can be a saver. When Yoshi uses Tongue Catch, it usually results in a Big Play. Tongue Catch is the equivalent of diving for the ball, like Mario, or sucking the ball in, like Birdo.
