Template:Worldbox world 8 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii has a grand total of 10 levels. It is also the final world, excluding the secret ninth world, Rainbow Path.

The Tower here leads to a fight with Kamek, who previously in the game is only seen enhancing the Koopalings when the heroes reach them in Castles. This world also features the third and final fight with Bowser Jr., once again on an Airship. The final level here features the two-part battle with Bowser, who is not once seen in the game up until that point.

The level is secret, in which can only be unlocked by taking the secret path on World 8-2. This is the first and only level were you see the Bonecoasters. There are a total of five coaster throughout the level (two at the underground section, three at the above ground section). The bonecoaster helps the four dodge the lava gysers that are constantly shooting from the lava. The first Star Coin is located on the second bonecoaster, were it is barely above the lava, which Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, or Yellow Toad must grab as the bonecoaster comes out of the lava. The second star coin is located above two lava gysers, which the four must jump off the third bonecoaster to grab it. The last star coin is found between the four and fifth bonecoaster. Mario and co. must stay on the fourth bonecoaster, grab the coin, and jump to the fifth bonecoaster before they touch the gyser. After the bonecoasters, it is a short jump onto the flagpole, which leads Mario and friends to 8-Airship.
