The Lumbar Nook is the smallest area of Bowser's body, located in his back. Mario, Luigi, and Starlow go here, due to a complaint from Bowser during the course of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Here they find Toadsworth, who was sitting there doing nothing. They tell Toadsworth of Bowser's back pain, and Toadsworth jabs his stick into a soft part, but it causes no effect. Mario and Luigi then drill into the soft part, when Toadbert comes to Toadsworth and sits down for tea. The plumbers pop out of the tissue, and Bowser learns how to use Spike Ball.
