- According to reports, Nintendo will release a new Nintendo DSi in Japan by the end of 2009 that will have larger 4 inch screens.
- Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (pictured) was released in Australia on October 22.
- A new Mario game was hinted at on a twitter portal that apparently belongs to Charles Martinet, the voice actor of Mario. This information was later denied by IGN.
