Spike Blops are Spiny-like creatures who inhabit Bowser's body in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Their slimy green bodies are protected by red shells covered with spikes. During battle, Mario and Luigi cannot jump on them, otherwise, they will stomp on the spikes of the Spike Blop and receive damage as a result. However, the brothers can use their hammers to knock the slimy creatures out. Their attack pattern consists of charging at a plumber, although the bros. can counter their attacks by hitting them with the hammer while attacking. Spike Blops will also try to climb on the ceiling, attempting to land on one of the brothers. Mario or Luigi can hit the Spike Blop just as it's about to land on one of the brothers.
