The fountain alive and ready for battle.

The Sea Pipe Statue is a boss in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. It is a fountain statue that Fawful brought to life. One of the Blooper's attacks is hiding inside one of the pipes attached to the statue. Then it will shoot the Blooper at Bowser, who must counter attack with a punch. At one point, Bowser can suck in the Blooper so Mario and Luigi can fight him. In the battle with Mario and Luigi, the Blooper may fly toward them. Another one of his attacks is spinning quickly and drilling into Bowser's stomach, injuring him. Soon, the Blooper will rocket out through Bowser's mouth and crash into his statue. Bowser can then punch the Blooper for a few turns.

Soon, the Blooper is defeated and the fountain statue becomes a normal fountain, which Bowser can use to help Mario and Luigi in his stomach and to allow them access to the Pump Works.

Trivia

  • This is the only enemy that can damage Bowser while fighting Mario and Luigi inside Bowser.
  • Fawful and his cronies brought the statue to life because it was dedicated to an ancient hero, and they knew Bowser would try to destroy it if he saw it.
