A List of All Enemies!
On a capture site containing guides for games, I peaked into their Mario & Luigi RPG 3 section to see what I could find and bring to this Wiki. Look at this, a whole list of every enemy, it appears!
http://dra-de.com/game/mario_luigi_rpg3/mario_luigi3_teki1.html
The illustrations to the side are fan art, by the way, to make things more clear. But I think this will be helpful. LEIRIN Leirin 20:51, 13 March 2009 (EDT)
It would be if someone could translate it. Caution! Your Buddy Bill was zzzz
Yeah, YourBuddyBill, we need official English names for these enemies, it's getting annoying to me! SuperMarioSuperFan
Ahem- Cough - Blehem- See here [1] - cough cough- I've almost done it all - cough - ACK! - Yes. File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNGHyper Guy (talk)File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNG
Official NA Name
we also need the REAL official English title for the game. we neeed theem! AARRRGGGHHHH! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!! YYYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! (Just kidding) SuperMarioSuperFan
It's possible that April 1st is not the real release date , weeks before the Japanese version of the game, they already came up with the name and box art. tomorrow is April 1st, and still no title or boxart!! except those "fake" titles, but it is possible that either one (or both) of them is/are the official title(s). But still. SuperMarioSuperFan
The offical na name is mario and luigi bowser's inside story. User:Mariogurl9/sig
European release date
This game will be realesed in Europe somewhere in Agust/September/October!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aghhhhhhhhhhhh!!! I can't wait!!!!!!
Ms. Koopette(Contribs)Do theLuigi!!!
- Nah. It will come in Europe in June/July/August. In another words, in Summer. The French Nintendo official magazine said it. Where did ou get that info ?
Koopalmier 10:37, 31 March 2009 (EDT)
Brittish Official Nintendo Magazine said it's going to be hit of Autumn
Ms. Koopette(Contribs)Do theLuigi!!!
Let me guess, Miss Koopette, you live in Europe. SuperMarioSuperFan
Yup, you're right.

I live in NA

Summer or Autumn ? Until further informations, nothing's really sure. I don't think Autumn is pretty sure, nor Summer. But I hope it's in Summer, because I can't wait for the French release of the game. Koopalmier 06:14, 5 April 2009 (EDT)
Lemme guess, Koopamiler, you live in France/Europe. SuperMarioSuperFan
look, do you guys know how many times those idiots are wrong? many times. Luigi456
See?
I told you the date was not real!!! well, some of you said that earlier, but those who agree were also right!! See? that means they were either:
1. lying
2. you looked it up on the 'sites that lied
3. they failed to achieve the release date
4. the release date was not truly achieved
5. Nintendo hasn't scheduled the release date in North America yet
See? The game is not in AMERICA, NO GAME!!!!!!! I knew it! WE KNEW IT!!! (no offense) SuperMarioSuperFan
- Have you ever heard the expression "if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"? There was no constructive point to that posting; being glad you were right is one thing, but this is crossing the line of good-taste. - Walkazo 18:59, 1 April 2009 (EDT)
I'm sorry, OK? Have you seen my userbox tower, one of my userboxes state that I have a terrible temper. and no, a have never heard of that saying. SuperMarioSuperFan Anyways, I'm sorry.
"Mario & Luigi the chronicles of three?"
I don't know if it's internet lies or that is really the English title. We still need to wait.
Ms. Koopette(Contribs)Do theLuigi!!!

the meaning of Q2 2009
what does "Q2 2009" mean? SuperMarioSuperFan
- It means "second quarter of 2009" (which is the period from April to June). Time Questions 02:03, 16 April 2009 (EDT)
So that means that the game is upon us correct or is this another bogus date? --Count b 08:31, 16 April 2009 (EDT)Count b
- Where is there proof that Q2 is when nintendo plans to release the game? -- User:MapleTree46 14:56 MapleTree Productions
the proof is on neoseeker. you will see the source at the bottom of the page.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Luigi456 (talk).
Well, how did neoseeker find that info? That's only what people think it's going to be but it may be false. Lets just hope for a June release.

Me is helpful
I'm halfway through the ROM of Mario & Luigi RPG 3!!! If anybody wants me to, I'll rip sprites of EVERY SINGLE ENEMY and put them onto one sheet, so we can have a graph of some sort displaying enemy stats and stuff. Who wants me to get ripping? File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNGHyper Guy (talk)File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNG
Um, an infobox would consume much less data, and load faster. AFAIK, nobody's actually ripped the stats from the game yet anyway. If you want to add separate images of each enemy to the appropriate articles, that'd probably be much more helpful. - 2257(Talk) 15:12, 17 April 2009 (EDT)
You say nobody's ripped the stats, but does that make me a nobody? I know almost all the enemy stats at the moment. Here's a couple.I'll try to help with stats as much as possible because I love stats me.
Fawful: 1,500 HP
Shroob Senji: 300 HP
File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNGHyper Guy (talk)File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNG
Actually, I said "As far as I know, nobody's ripped the stats." ;) Anyway, how did you get those? - 2257(Talk) 17:04, 17 April 2009 (EDT)
Riiiiight. Yeah, I'm so desperate to know the stats, every damage I do I add up until the enemy is beat, and I substract any numbers that seem unlikely, as boss HP normally ends in a zero, so a Shroob Senji's HP can't be 302, but most likely 300. It's harder with normal enemies. File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNGHyper Guy (talk)File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNG
Oh, ok. That sounds good. With the HP, I can determine all the other stats from datamining. Which would also be enough, I'd think, to get rid of any error... - 2257(Talk) 12:10, 18 April 2009 (EDT)
So should I wait untill the official English enemy names and THEN make the articles and put the sprites and stuff on? Because I'm ripping them as we speak.File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNGHyper Guy (talk)File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNG
Eh, it won't be hard to rename them later. Go ahead and start. - 2257(Talk) 12:53, 19 April 2009 (EDT)
You can try spriters resource for the sprites . I've see some M&L RPG 3 sprites there. Masatog(talk)
Oh yeah. Looks like I don't have to worry anymore! But they don't have any MetaBoss sprites... So I'll do that myself. File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNGHyper Guy (talk)File:Unknown Shy Guy.PNG
Confused
Is the game coming out in June? because on Wikipedia is says May 15? --Count b 08:28, 5 May 2009 (EDT)Count b
- People often add fake dates for upcoming games in Wikipedia. It has been removed again. --Grandy02 13:13, 5 May 2009 (EDT)
Yes I know I was just there but what about June I have not seen anything on other sites leading to June especially not Nintendo but it I could see where it would be likely because June is after 3 months and japan usually sends us the games after 3 months. --Count b 18:23, 5 May 2009 (EDT)Count b
You are correct, but it also takes time to program the games to make them speak English. SuperMarioSuperFan
that doesnt mean anything. there is no "games usually are released three months after Japan". none of us can afford to assume anything. as we move closer to the games release, more and more will begin to reveal. Luigi456 19:57, 11 May 2009 (EDT)
Game Title
I have been hearing like a lot of you I am sure have been hearing that there is a rumor the official title for the game is Mario & Luigi: The Chronicles of Three but do not take this to heart because this may be false especially since Nintendo remains silent to any thing of this game still. --Count b 12:00, 22 May 2009 (EDT) Count b

PAL release
Just got the French Nintendo Official Magazine today. It says that the Europe release date is in July. I'm not sure (the British Nintendo Official Magazine says that the release date is in Autumn), but what is sure is that something is going to happen in July. Maybe the US release ? Koopalmier 09:38, 27 May 2009 (EDT)
Well the release date may be announced at E3 09 in June so it probably will be released in late June or early July. YAY! I can't wait!--Fawfulfury65 10:40, 27 May 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
I've got news. First, Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games will be released later than November in Europe, meaning that it may come out in Europe near December/January. Something more important, something will be released in Europe in July. I'm pretty sure it's M&L3. I got these news from someone that is working at a video game shop. Koopalmier 14:22, 28 May 2009 (EDT)
Well, workers in video game stores aren't always correct.--Fawfulfury65 19:02, 28 May 2009 (EDT)
You cant trust those magazines, otherwise we'd always have an accurate release date for everything.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Luigi456 (talk).
That is true. You cant rely on magazines but he said it was an official Nintendo magazine and if its a Nintendo magazine it could be true.--Fawfulfury65 08:56, 30 May 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
E3 2009
As we all know E3 is coming up so keep your eyes peeled for any info from Nintendo on Mario & Luigi RPG 3 I have a ahunch we will find something there! --Count b 15:57, 31 May 2009 (EDT) Count b
Umm...
Shouldnt the name be Mario and Luigi Rpg 3!!! still? It was first released in Japan, under that name, and because of the proposal from a few months ago, this name is invalid??? Luigfreak Mai talk
- No, the proposal was about the first English name used. So it's basically about whether the game iss released first in America, in Europe, or in Australia. Time Questions 00:00, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
No, it's American name was announced at E3 and it is Bowser's Inside Story.--Fawfulfury65 16:21, 3 June 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
Fall 2009
Meaning... When?
--Mario240 11:50, 3 June 2009 (EDT)
Meaning September, October, or November. according to Game stop, October. Luigi 456
NA name for the Mekataro disease
I probably misspelled Mekataro, but I was watching a video on the Wii at the Nintendo Channel, from E3, and in one of the Toad's speech bubbles it mentioned the disease being called "blorbs". There's even a picture of that screen in this article too! Should Mekataro be changed to Blorbs? The Game Prince
Not yet. Wait for more information just to make sure it's correct.--Fawfulfury65 10:25, 9 June 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
Um, it's in Nintendo Power! I just got my issue today, and it has a 4-page runthrough of the plot. It clearly and surely states that it is called "The Blorbs". If you don't believe me, I'll scan it. I think it's official by now, and the name should be changed if it hasn't already. The Game Prince
October 1st
Why is this date on the american release Nintendo has not specified any date it is just known as Fall 2009 on their website. --Count b 10:55, 7 June 2009 (EDT) Count b
I think someone put it on Wikipedia and so now everyone thinks it's October 1st. Somebody should get rid of that.--Fawfulfury65 16:11, 8 June 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
Addition
I added Fall 2009 to the american release and put the reference link to the direct page on nintendo the game is located on. --Count b 17:04, 8 June 2009 (EDT) Count b
Date
The date was changed yet again to october 1st, it is NOT october 1st Nintendo has not said this! --Count b 18:44, 10 June 2009 (EDT) Count b
Ugh! Nintendo says it's Fall 2009 and nothing more so IT IS NOT OCTOBER 1st! They never said it would be released on October 1st when it was announced, they said FALL 2009! If you don't believe me than e-mail Nintendo and they will say Fall 2009! I HAVE FURY!--Fawfulfury65 19:24, 11 June 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
I mean seriously I had the direct link to nintendo's page for the game and people still don't pay attention! --Count b 15:47, 12 June 2009 (EDT) Count b
Yes someone finally changed it back to Fall 2009! DO NOT CHANGE IT!--Fawfulfury65 12:26, 13 June 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
September 14
Someone needs to erase this because it is fake. Nintendo still says Fall 2009. Wikipedia is lying just like they did for the October 1st release date.--Fawfulfury65 08:52, 20 June 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
That release date isn't from Wikipedia. It's from GameStop, so that release date could be true. -RedFire Mario
I guess it's fine then. But Nintendo still says Fall so I'm going to ask someone next time I go to Gamestop.--Fawfulfury65 15:37, 20 June 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
"The blorbs"!?
On Nintendo's official website I was browsing through the news from E3 and I saw a video containg a few speech bubbles in English. In one of them a Toad said "Soon the entire Mushroom Kingdom will get the blorbs..." [2] The quote is at 0:04. I think I had given enough of proof.
Yoshi Koshi Moshi 16:23, 22 June 2009 (EDT)
Yes, many websites call it that so it's probably true and can be put in the article.--Fawfulfury65 16:30, 22 June 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
IS THIS BOX ART EVEN OFFICIAL?!
http://spyrofan238.deviantart.com/art/IS-THIS-RIGHT-127909336
I found this image on GameFly.com, And i don't know if it's official, what do you think? --Mario240 14:55, 1 July 2009 (EDT)Mario240
No way! That's not even the right logo.--Fawfulfury65 15:42, 1 July 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
Mario and Luigi 4?
I went on Wikipedia and it said that Shigeru Miyamoto announced a 4th Mario and Luigi game for 2010. That sound awesome but could it be true?--Fawfulfury65 09:29, 5 July 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
You can never really trust wikipedia on these kind of things. The only sites that you can trust for these kind of things are hardcore gaming sites like gamespot, or IGN. --MapleTree46 19:57, 5 July 2009
Its Probobly True.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ratfink43 (talk).
no its not. thats only one year after this game is going to be released. he never announced anything about a Mario & Luigi RPG 4 at e3 or anywhere else. it never happened. Luigi456 17:05, 11 September 2009 (EDT)
Official NA Name For Yellow Star
I looked in august's issue of NINTENDO POWER and i saw the official NA name for the little yellow guy is....... STARLOW!!!
I love that name! Now we have change all the Yellow Stars in the article to Starlow.--Fawfulfury65 11:05, 7 July 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
Official NA Boxart
Look what I found on Gamestop.com![3] It is also on amazon.com so I think we should put it up as the boxart. Too bad it's the same as the Japanese boxart.--fawfulfury65 15:48, 25 July 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
- Not confirmed by Nintendo, plus it's most likely a fake. Why would they keep the same boxart and change the logo ? Koopalmier 18:20, 27 July 2009 (EDT)
- But It's Posible--Mario240 17:52, 29 July 2009 (EDT)Mario240

Well Ithink It Was About Time They Did A Diffrent Design For A Change! --Mario240 16:46, 27 July 2009 (EDT)Mario240
That box art should be up because it came from Gamestop and a bunch of other websites have it too. Gamestop usually puts this kind of stuff on their website before Nintendo so it still is probably true even if it isn't on Nintendo.com. Someone should at least put it on as a beta picture.--fawfulfury65 18:05, 29 July 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
- It doesn't mean it's official (or at least, not official yet). Koopalmier 07:58, 30 July 2009 (EDT)
Fawfulfury65 is right. A lot of websites have it. It is most lickley official(Sadly). I am going to change the boxart ratfink43
- For now, we don't know if it is official, so for now I'm reverting it back to the Japanese box-art. · SMB (Talk) · 19:51, 30 July 2009 (EDT)
Could you people think a little please? If it was fan-made, why would the guy keep the Japanese Box Art? Also Gamestop dosent make up Box art, and it didnt say "TEMP" on the box. Still, we have no proof from Nintendo. Maybe I will call up Nintendo and Ask if this is the boxart. For now i am gonna leave the Japanese Box art, but after I call it may be changedratfink43
Guys I just called Nintendo. They said this box art is true, and they made this box art. However, they also said the box art could change. Maybe we should leave it alone until the game comes out. Still, it is made by Nintendo, Should I put it back up?? ratfink43
- It's, true, they made the original boxart (the Japanese one). This one is just the Jap. one but with a custom US logo. So it doesn't mean Nintendo made it all. They made the boxart, not the logo. Koopalmier 12:32, 31 July 2009 (EDT)
GameStop ususally makes their own boxes for the upcoming games, but i dont know if that box is one of them ™ IMMA BORED, READ THE SHROOM
We cant add the NA boxart. none of the images has the PNG extention, so the mariowiki dosent let me put it up
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ratfink43 (talk).
- I don't think we should anyway, just wait until Nintendo officially announces the box-art, gives more details, or until it is released. for now I think it should remain as the Japanese box-art, as it is the only official box-art used by Nintendo. · SMB (Talk) · 11:50, 31 July 2009 (EDT)
If Nintendo really use this boxart, well then they're really dumber that what I thought. :/ Koopalmier 12:32, 31 July 2009 (EDT)
Yes Kooplaimer, I agree with you. They shouldnt use this Box art. But when I called Nintendo, I asked if they released the Mario and Luigi Bowsers Inside Story Box Art for US. The guy said he dosent remember. I told him to go to gamestop.com and tell me if Nintendo made the Box art that appears there. This is exactly what he said: "Yes. We have created this Box art. However, it is likley to change." Scince it is most likley to change, we should leave the Japanese Box art on this article and leave the subject alone for now. ratfink43
I Have The GIF File, I might Convert It To A PNG File--Mario240 14:16, 2 August 2009 (EDT)Mario240
Hey! Today I went to Gamestop and they had a rack of upcoming games that showed the boxart for BiS! They said the boxart wasn't final, but I'll describe what it looked like since I can't find it on the internet: It had Mario and Luigi climbing on bones in Bowser's body (Like in that one image in the photo gallery) and then Bowser was in the background, except he was pink, along with the rest of the background. And the title logo was in the middle of the picture. If someone can find this on a website, than they should at least put it up as a beta picture!--fawfulfury65 17:41, 4 August 2009 (EDT)fawfulfury65
NA name for Metaboss
The official NA name for Metaboss is Midbus, according to Nintendo Power. I think somone already changed Metaboss to Midbus, but if no one did, I am going to right now. ratfink43
Birdopillar?
Can anyone confirm that this is actually the the English name of Imounu? We're the only result for "Birdopillar" on Google. - 2257(Talk) 15:37, 31 July 2009 (EDT)
I dont got any proof. probobly niether does anyone here. This is the only website with that name, so somone probobly lied. I wish I knew whoit was, if I did I would Block him. For now, im changing it back to Imunu. ratfink43

The length of the Story section...
...is way too long. When pasted into Word, it takes up 4 pages and 4 lines at the default settings. Anyone who has time to write (or read) that much stuff about one video game needs to really get a life. Toadfan 09:06, 10 August 2009 (EDT)
Its not our fault this is a long game. The story should be left as is. Ratfink43
- I understand the game is long. What I'm saying is the article does not need that much detail! We're talking about 4 pages! At Wikipedia (where detailed plot summaries are explicitly forbidden), the article on the same game has a nice three-paragraph plot summary. While I'm not suggesting that it needs to be that short, it definitely needs to be shorter than this. Toadfan 10:03, 10 August 2009 (EDT)
- But why? We're not Wikipedia. Personally, I think we should get into detail as much as possible (as long as it doesn't get redundant). But I agree we could improve the article by doing two things: 1) Adding more images to the plot section, so it's better readable. 2) Add a shorter summary for people like you who prefer a shorter version. Time Q (talk)
- Yes, that would be a good idea. Toadfan 10:47, 10 August 2009 (EDT)

I guess the story doesent have to be every little deatail, but it shouldnt be a short summary either. I WOULD edit this page, but somone locked it.Ratfink43
- What Time Q meant was to add a short summary separately, like in the lede...oh well, just forget it. This discussion is obviously getting nowhere. Toadfan 10:14, 11 August 2009 (EDT)

NA boxart
Seiriously, we should add the NA boxart found at gamestop.com. Its even on ign.com,costco.com,and now its on wikipedia. Thats it, Im adding it.Ratfink43
- Yeah, but I'm removing it. One example is that I went to GameStop myself and I saw a lable on the Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story box-art as "unofficial" (what they really said was not final, but you know what I mean). · SMB (Talk) · 10:18, 11 August 2009 (EDT)
- Exactly. Plus GameFAQs is affiliated with Gamestop, and the other websites are just naives. Koopalmier 11:56, 12 August 2009 (EDT)
OK just forget about the boxart until something REAL comes up. Gamestop made that boxart up and a bunch of other websites probably copied their boxart. Besides, I saw the real boxart when I was reserveing M&L BiS. It's not final, but it looks nothing like the Japanese boxart. fawfulfury65
Release date source?
The source for the NA release date is from a forum. is that really a reliable source?--Vyro 11:34, 18 August 2009 (EDT)
- Well, IGN, Amazon, GameStop and many other sites list September 14, 2009. And the reference source for the NA realease needs to be updated. --MechaWave 21:46, 19 August 2009 (EDT)
That boxart is fake
That boxart is fake and was made by Gamestop. The Japanese boxart should be back up. For more proof I e-mailed Gamestop about this boxart. fawfulfury65

O.K. I Changed It.--Mario240 15:14, 24 August 2009 (EDT)Mario240
Sorry if I got in your face or anything, and sorry I shouted. Its just that I dont know why somone would put up the boxart on this wiki espesicallly if even THEY know it is fake. I thought this was a wiki for facual information only. A picture like that would fit in the trivia section.Ratfink43

if you want to know that box art on nintendo.com is not official because they have no other boxart the one thay are going to use is under peroges

Good point. I'm telling you though, I saw the real boxart at my local Gamestop! This probably is still a placeholder. fawfulfury65
- (observation from an uninvolved party) With the amount of capital letters and exclamation points, I would think you were arguing about politics, religion, sport - something meaningful. Seriously, if you can't decide on which boxart is real, did it ever occur to you all to just remove the (supposedly fake) boxart(s) in question until it is known which one is real? And if one of the boxarts is, in fact, real and you think it sucks, then live with it! Toadfan 20:31, 26 August 2009 (EDT)
Since the box art appears at Nintendo.com and it is less than a month until North American release, this is probably the final Western game cover. Would not be unlikely, the same happened with WarioWare - the first two US game covers showed Wario and his cast of friends, but afterwards they adopted the simple style of the Japanese covers with just Wario's face - and now the same goes for the Mario & Luigi series. --Grandy02 05:42, 28 August 2009 (EDT)
Somone needs to change the american game logo. on Nintendo.com`s videos, it shows the REAL NA logo

According to this, Several Techniques from previous Mario & Luigi games will return. It shows Mini-Mario and the Spin Jump. I'd assume more of them are to return as well.
Correct, and this video shows the new NA logo. Ratfink43

I found out what the official English site is. It is at http://bowsersinsidestory.com/. It has a few videos as of now and also has links to French and Spanish versions of the site.

Whats the point of putting a BETA logo on this Page!! I mean it could stay but at least put the real logo back up why did you take it down, whoever took it down? Whats the Inside Story of why somone removed the real NA logo.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ratfink43 (talk).
- The file of the actual logo is corrupted. Plus the first logo was shown at E3, so it's enough important. But you can remove it. Koopalmier 15:43, 4 September 2009 (EDT)
Well, its back up. But we can still leave the Beta logo, just dont remove the real one.

I visited the French website for this and there's still the normal boxart in the picture on the corner, but not the one you saw, Koopalmier. Are you sure this is real because I don't understand why Nintendo would make a different boxart for the EU version but not the US one. Well, we can keep that up for a while but let's all keep are eyes peeled for any changes! fawfulfury65
- Wasn't the US boxart showed on the Internet before Nintendo ? And NoE would make a different box art because... Well, ask to NoA why they didn't made a new boxart. Koopalmier 02:33, 6 September 2009 (EDT)
Ivisited the french website and this boxart was shown. So i guess its official Ratfink43

I think this has to do with the German USK age rating. The new size of the USK-logo takes almost half of the boxart. That's why they spaced out the cover. But countries outside of Germany use the PEGI age rating. This logo is small. I don't get why they use the spaced out version when PEGI is used. rend (talk) (edits)
- Because it makes the EU box art different of the original. Koopalmier 13:48, 7 September 2009 (EDT)
- The big German USK age rating is also what came to my mind (some months ago, it was even bigger than today, but before that change, it was much smaller). Maybe the change also applies to covers with the PEGI rating because they want to keep it consistent within PAL regions (except for Oceania, where the American design will be used, I guess). --Grandy02 16:28, 11 September 2009 (EDT)
- No, as they used the JAP boxart for New Super Mario Bros.. I think they kept the spaced box art because it is also a reference to the fact Bowser's gameplay is on the up screen while the Mario Bros. gameplay is on the touch screen. Koopalmier 12:17, 13 September 2009 (EDT)

Comes out today
Well it comes out today here in America so once somone who lives in America like me gets the game, major changes should be made to the article. Also the officiaal website has been updated.Ratfink43
Story
It might be useful that I haven't played this game, because that way I can see, how a visitor would see the article. I read through the story sections and they are fairly written and understandable. However, a major question was formed during reading the story and it remains unanswered. The relatively simple question is: Why? Why does Fawful do all these things? What's with the Blorps? How is it of use to him? Does he have any reasons? I still didn't get that. If these questions are already are answered in the text and I simply overlooked it, then I'm sorry. Might be kind of dull-witted today. - Gabumon(talk) 23:03, 18 September 2009 (EDT)
- He created the blorbs epidemic so that everyone is trying to cure it while he's taking over Peach's castle without being seen. Koopalmier 10:20, 19 September 2009 (EDT)
Edit
Do you think we should change the screen shot of bowser where he is flaming up the meeting room because on the little word bubble it shows him saying "how dare you!" and on the game he really says "crud!". And I know this because I have played the game. --Count b 16:31, 21 September 2009 (EDT) Count_b
Yeah I'll get rid of that... I don't remember him saying "How dare you" either. Fawfulfury65
The how dare you part is from the E3 trailer. They must have changed it. Also MAN the commercial for this game is GAY!
Continuous Play?
Hey! Been a while since I've been here (Been busy). Anyway, I noticed under game play differences it says that after beating the boss you can play after that point (like Super Paper Mario, or Paper Mario:TTyD, I'm not sure if that is true cus' I've beaten the game and it doesn't start after that point, all it does is takes you to your last save (I even thought you had to get to the highest rank for Bowser and the Bros. to do this!O_o). But if this is true, someone please tell me how to?
RickyMarioRickyMario 20:52, 21 September 2009 (EDT)
Your supposed to beat every enemy you see in the game to get level ups to provide rank ups. If you avoid fighting enemies you wont rank up!
The preceding unsigned comment was added by LuigiB123 (talk).
- I think he was refering to how you save after you've beaten the final boss. The article says it's possible but he does not know how it works. I too have my doubts that this works, because the article says, the bros get ejected from Bowser after the final boss. How are you supposed to play on after this? - Gabumon(talk) 23:06, 22 September 2009 (EDT)
I beat the game, and after you beat the final boss, you start from your last saving point. Considering that there are no save points after the final boss, I do not believe that there is continuous play. Luigifreak (talk)
Ok, since two people agreed now that there's no "playing beyond the final boss", I removed that information, untill someone brings up proof of it's validity - Gabumon(talk) 00:36, 23 September 2009 (EDT)
Yes same for me but I will go around and fight enemies to see if you need the top rank to do continuous play. There is a rank above star rank does anyone know what it is? Fawfulfury65
I dont know the Rank above Star rank but for Bowser the rank after Gold Boss rank is Final Boss Rank. Ratfink43
The rank after star rank is Rainbow Rank, found out after getting Mario and Luigi to Level 40! I noticed that if you level up after that, it only adds 1 point to each of your stats. RickyMarioRickyMario
Yoob
Has anyone here fought the Purple Shy Guys? In one of there attacks you here Yoob in the backround and Yoob's tounge comes out and eats the Shy Guy and thShy Guy comes back as an Egg. It is not confirmed that the monster in the back is Yoob, as you dont see him, but the roar sounds a lot like Yoob's Roar and the tounge is giant like Yoob's. What do you guys Think? Ratfink43
I've noticed that as well. The same attack happens with the Red Shy Guys around Bowser's Castle. By the way, they're called Fawful Guys(red ones) and Dark Fawful Guys(purple ones). One thing that could lead this to not being Yoob, is that Yoob doesn't throw eggs in a Sunnycide like style and the attack happens inside Bowser's Belly when Bowser inhales the Dark Fawful Guys. In my opinion I think its a weird attack.....O_o

Possible music trivia
The music outside of Fawful's castle is the exact same music used for Ganondorf's theme in TLoZ: Ocarina of Time. Also, a few notes of Cackletta's theme can be heard in Fawful's castle inside theme. Not sure if wither fact belongs on this page or the respective articles' pages. Para Yoshi Wahoo! 23:56, 25 September 2009 (EDT)
- I don't think so, or else we would add that it also sounds like "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms", that the Toad Town theme share a part with "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms" and that the final boss theme is similar to "U.N. Owen Was Her?". ...Oh, wait, Touhou isn't made by Nintendo. Bah, doesn't matter. Anyway... No. Koopalmier 06:21, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
- I don't know if it would be meaningful to add that info without an official source. Is this said music? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn68NdtBdk0 Hm, some parts match with the Ganon theme, but I doubt that's enough to confirm that it's a remix (it's also not "exactly the same". Not at all ;3) . - Gabumon(talk) 00:10, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
Wapanese
I've played through the game and read that some of storyline of this game is similar to the story in its Japanese version. However, I think for it to be better, it should be rewritten to match its English storyline. Here's a few examples I found (I even tried editing them, but they were edited back):
1. Bowser gets pushed into a safe Japanese: Bowser's minions push Bowser in, saying the Age of Bowser has ended, saying that Fawful has placed a price to whoever could stop Bowser. American: Bowser's minions push Bowser in, saying the Age of Bowser has ended, saying that Fawful would promise them more rations if they could stop Bowser.
2. Bowser eats the 2nd Star Cure Japanese: Starlow advises Bowser to eat the Star Cure. American: Bowser ... just eats the Star Cure ... angrilly saying that it was the reason Bowser was locked up here in the first place.
3. Bowser stays in the safe for too long and is unable to move. Japanese: Bowser's long stay in the safe forces him to fall unconcious. American: Bowser's long stay in the safe forces his back to hurt.
This is all I can note right now.
The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bluekirbystar (talk).
- Our usual policy is to follow the English release of the game, and note how the Japanese differs. Your edits got reverted not because anyone is "Wapanese", but because many users haven't yet had time to play the game and so don't know how it's different. So please don't start throwing accusations around. - 2257(Talk) 22:40, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
- The one who reverted your latest edit was I, and I did it because you just swapped some words without adding more information, so I deemed the old writing style more fitting, so I changed it back to the old version. If anything here gets reverted, it is usually because you have not reached consensus with the other users, or you wrote something that does not correspond with our manual of style. - Gabumon(talk) 22:53, 26 September 2009 (EDT)
German boxart
What the heck is up with the Yellow thing on the German Box-Art? Is it on all the germany games?[[User:Ratfink43|Ratfink43
I guess that's the age rating thingy. Possibly meaning... everyone 6 and up? Fawfulfury65 (talk)
- Ah, that's the fault of our German politicans and their odd opinions. Those airheads are currently debating over a prohibition for "Killerspiele" (trans. "Killer Games" - games that contain much violence (yes, the definition is that vague)). They are hoping to decrease the amount of school violence with this, thereby totally defying reality (as the one has nothing to do with the other). As a result of this debate, the age rating signs on all games were enlarged so that they now cover almost a quarter of the whole box. - Gabumon(talk) 14:13, 27 September 2009 (EDT)
Split Giant Bowser Bosses from Bosses section.
You all know how the Overworld enemies and the inside bowser enemies are in different sections on the M&L:BiS page? Well, I think it would be rigt to split the Giant Bowser from the Boss section. I think it would be better so we know which Bosses bowser versus giant more easily. If you don't agree, then I fine with that, since there is not that many, but many of the headers have small sections under theirs, so...I'm just saying. All I want is to make sure I can do that without getting in trouble or having it getting changed back... Baby Mario Bloops
- I agree, but don't know what others may say. -
Gabumon(talk) 16:48, 28 September 2009 (EDT)
- Dimenshi Knight seconds this though. He thinks that you have a good reason, Bloops. Dimenshi Knight
- Tucayo, if your still on, can I please split the Giant Bowser Bosses from the Bosses section now? Or do you not want to do that. Baby
Description of bosses and enemies...
I know that I have all these ideas, but the article does really need help. I looked at the past installments of the Mario & Luigi series, and the enemies and bosses in their main page area have no description (If you don't understand me, on the M&L:BiS, in the headers with the enemies (for example), they have a description that was used from a long time ago...). I think we should get rid of it, since their own individual article tells about them now. I just saying, it would be some less junk on the page... Baby Mario Bloops
- You mean getting rid of the enemy summaries? No, I wouldn't do that. They are good to give the reader a short idea of the subject, and if the reader is interested, he/she can switch to the main article of that enemy for more information. I think they're useful. -
Gabumon(talk) 17:06, 28 September 2009 (EDT)
- I'm just saying. I looked at the past installments and they did not have the little summaries like this one does. If you like it, I can respect that, but the page is a little cluttered and the little descpritions are one of the main causes to take. If you don't want it, that's fine with me! - Baby
- Dimenshi Knight doesn't want to seem like he always agree with Baby Mario Bloops, but he has a good point with the article being cluttered! Sorry, Edofenrir, you have a good point, but Dimenshi Knight thinks it better for the article to not have too much stuff on it. Dimenshi Knight
- Yeah really, it does look cluttered. I don't like the short summaries. Maybe we can find a way to make it less cluttered... Fawfulfury65 (talk)
- How about shortening the summaries, so that they fit into one line? Much of the summaries are overly long and could use some size adjustment. An example would be the enemy list I made/redesigned on Wario Land 2. - Gabumon(talk) 18:27, 28 September 2009 (EDT)
- Yeah really, it does look cluttered. I don't like the short summaries. Maybe we can find a way to make it less cluttered... Fawfulfury65 (talk)
We could try... Baby Mario Bloops
- Could someone upload sprites of the enemies to put next to the description? I think that would look better just as it does in the Wario Land 2 article. Fawfulfury65 (talk)
Unless you can find them all, your pushing it. Also, we don't want to copy off of something that was exactly used before. Baby Mario Bloops
- Well, putting the little sprites next to the enemies in the WL2 article was my idea, and I don't see a problem to use that here as well (provided we can get the necessary sprites). I also have to say that the article looks much better with the shortened summaries (I will check them in a moment). - Gabumon(talk) 19:39, 28 September 2009 (EDT)
Now the article is all neat and presentable, and I will use that idea only if the sprites are all found. So, I also think that is cooled, but we need the sprites. Baby Mario Bloops
- Nevermind...why did you change it back, Tucayo, the users above all agreed that it would be a lot better the other way. Can you please change it back? Baby
- I wrote him a note, so we may give him time to respond first :3 - Gabumon(talk) 19:48, 28 September 2009 (EDT)
- I know, but just a quick question to Tucayo, these are just very short summaries, and the old summaries are pretty long. Just to let you know, their are articles for them, so it doesn't have to have two long summaries, okay (sorry if it sounds angry). Baby
- Ok, Tucayo told me, that he agrees with the idea, but we may have to rewrite some things. I will get started with that now and hope to finish it within the next hour :3 -
