A Kaboomba is a walking cannon enemy in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. They shoot cannons that explode after a few seconds. They only appear in the deep undergound maze level and Raphael the Raven's Castle.
Kaboombas would go on to be featured in Super Princess Peach under the name "Cannon". The Calm Cannon, a sleeping variety of Kaboomba, also appeared.
