Virtual Boy Wario Land was a Wario game. It had a red tint to Wario's sprite, along with a red background tint that made it, at times, seem Wario just dissapeared a into the background.

It was overlooked by many Nintendo fans, and wasn't prominently successful. It was re-made differently for Game Boy as Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 and was more successful. Its unknown if the sequels are sequels to this or its counterpart.
