Loves Me...?

Loves Me...? is a mini-game of the vs battle mode of the games Super Mario 64 DS and New Super Mario Bros.. It is one of Yoshi's Mini-games in the former.

The player will pluck a petal, using his or her stylus, and the screen will say "Loves Me". After they pluck another one it will say "Loves Me Not". These alternate back and forth, until the player has plucked the last petal. The amount of petals on the flower varies, and sometimes there is only one or two petals. Very rarely, there are no petals and the player must touch the face of the flower.

Depending on what result the player gets, Yoshi will react differently on the top screen. If the player receives a "Loves Me" Yoshi will be seen raising his arms in victory. If the player receives a "Loves Me Not", Yoshi will be seen looking down upset.

The New Super Mario Bros. version of the game can be played against a player, where each player can pluck 1-3 petals, with the goal being either to pluck the last petal if the result will be "Loves Me" or to leave the other player with the last petal if it the result will be "Loves Me Not".
