Dune Buds are plants found in the game Super Mario Sunshine. Initially appearing as a purple bud, spraying them with water causes them to bloat up and turn orange before causing a sand dune to pop up on the beach for a short time. They appear in Super Mario Sunshine, on Gelato Beach. Spray them until they turn orange, and they'll pop up, hurting any Cataquacks in the area. It also hurts the giant green Wiggler boss.
