Stanley the Bugman is a bug exterminator and the protagonist of the game Donkey Kong 3. In this game Stanley uses his Bug-Spray Gun to do battle with Donkey Kong (or Cranky Kong) and several insects in a greenhouse. Eventually Stanley managed to defeat Donkey Kong and presumably sent him back to where he came from.

History

Greenhouse

Artwork of Greenhouse.

In this game, many bugs had infested Stanley's green house and he had to try and protect his plants from Spiders and Worms. He did this by spraying them with his weapon, a Bug-Spray Gun.

Donkey Kong 3

This time not only had insects infested his green house but also Donkey Kong (Possibly a younger Cranky Kong) was trying to cause damage. Donkey Kong would pester bees in there hives to attack Stanley. Stanley would spray Donkey Kong with his Bug-Spray Gun (who was hanging from two vines) and he would be pushed upward by it and eventually end up with his head stuck in a beehive at the top of all the vines.

Stanley's green house was again attacked by Donkey Kong, who this time had a Bug-Spray Gun (The Bug-Spray Guns in this game where more slightly different as they sprayed bubbles of water rather than clouds of bug spray) of his own. Donkey Kong and Stanley both stood at opposite ends of the green house and sprayed the bug spray at bees to move them toward one another. After sending the bees to Donkey Kong and them stinging him enough times, Donkey Kong eventually left again.

Other Appearances

It also was set on an ouside area on Yoshi Island rather that Stanley's green house.
