Template:Galaxybox Matter Splatter Galaxy is a galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy. Unusually, the galaxy's surfaces appears when a sort of spotlight moves across them, and disappears when the spotlight moves away, making the level rather tricky. Magikoopas are the only enemies in this level.

Areas/Planets

Area 1

This is the first 3-D area in the level. It contains what seems to be a large room bit Mario cand only stand on what he can see of it. There are tiny droplets of matter that make the ground visable and Mario must jump in the puddles of matter they make while avoiding magikoopas to get to the pipe..

Area 2

This is the first 2-D area in the level. It is a dark area with more matter droplets that Mario must follow to get to the pipe. There area also more magikoopas trying to stop Mario.

Area 3

This is the second 2-D area in the level. In this part Mario must grab a spring mushroom and climb a wall and reach a pipe at the top. There is a spotlight of matter thet Mario must follow or fall to his doom.

Area 4

This is the second 3-D area in the level. In this part a small network of walkways led to the power star but are hidden until shone upon by the spolight of matter which Mario must again follow. Once Mario reaches the power star at the end howerver there is a magikoopa that will try to prevent Mario from reaching the power star but he can be easily avoided.

Watch Your Step

Mario lands on a solid platform. He then has to pass the planet until he reaches a green Warp Pipe. He will end up on a planet that requires a few Wall Jumps to get to the top and into the next planet. Mario will have to jump up pink platforms and destroy the crystal to get a spring mushroom. He has to bounce up to grab the Question Coin to move the "spotlight". Once he reaches the top, he must use the Sling Star to transform back into normal and land on another planet. Mario must then travel through a maze, so if he reaches a dead end, he will fall. In every group of four Star Bits, a Magikoopa will appear. Once he passes, the "spotlight" will begin to shrink, so he has to get the Power Star very quickly.

Trivia

  • The secret level in the Ghostly Galaxy uses the same concept as this level, though is much shorter and entirely 3D.
