- “I'm a mini-pulsar.”
- —Pulsar, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Pulsars are small, strange, red-eyed creatures covered in crystalline, spiked armor who inhabit Star Hill in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Pulsars have extremely high defense and powerful electric attacks such as Static E! and Bolt. Pulsars are very dangerous as their kamikaze Migraine attack will either cause massive damage or instantly destroy a party member, so it's best they be avoided.
Pulsars, due to their almost exact appearance, are said to be related to Clusters.
Trivia
- Pulsars share their name with radiation-releasing objects found in nebulae. Pulsar even states itself to be "a mini-pulsar" in its Psychopath thought, indicating that Pulsars may actually be smaller versions of these real life pulsars.
