Chump Rope is a 3 vs. 1 mini-game in Mario Party 8.

Introduction

The one player will be turning a rope with a Shy Guy, and three Goombas will be jumping in it. The trio slowly replaces the Goombas one by one. Then, the ropes stops and the game begins.

Controls

Solo player: Must swing the Wii controller around like a jumprope. Trio: Must quickly raise the Wii controller when the rope goes toward the feet.

Gamplay

The solo player must swing the rope the topple the trio within the time limit. The trio must obviously jump until the timer runs out.

Endings

If the solo player wins, he/she will preform a winning pose as the three players will be seen jumping along the rope as two Shy Guys are trying to trip them. If the trio wins,the solo player will be seen jumping along the rope as two Shy Guys are trying to trip him/her.
