Mother 3 wasn't released in America, yes. However, EarthBound (Mother 2) was released in America, and Pokey did appear in that game. For having played it, his name is infact Pokey Minch ingame. Blitzwing (talk · gnome work)

Old Pokey?

I think I've spotted a mistake.

"When Pokey is fought, he isn't the old Pokey that appeared with the machine from Mother 3, but rather, he appears as the young Pokey from EarthBound."

This is probably incorrect. If you look closely, you can see what looks like his moustache from Mother 3. [1]

Yeah. Although his offical name in Brawl is Porky, his alias of Pokey should be mentioned. HyperToad
