The 2-Star Hex is a type of Hex in Mario Party DS. The player who possesses it can choose to place it on any Space within a certain distance (except for "special" spaces.). Then, if an opponent lands on it, 2 stars will be taken from them. If the player who threw it lands on it, the hex will be cancelled out, but they will receive 5 coins. But, if the player does not have any stars, the hex will fail and won't have any effects, whatsoever.
