This is a complete list of Mario Kart Wii Tournaments that have been held on the Mario Kart Channel so far. Two tournaments are held each month, starting in May of 2008. The first tournament of each month lasts from the 1st to the 10th of that month, and the last, lasts from the 15th until the 25th.

2008 Tournaments

May 2008 Tournament 1 – The first one was a Grand Prix-styled race on Mario Circuit with Chain Chomps running loose on the track and more Goombas.

May 2008 Tournament 2 – Wii-Wheel Only – The second one took place on GBA Battle Course 3, in which the player had to go through ten gates placed around the track in order.

June 2008 Tournament 1 – The third one was set on the stage Galaxy Colosseum, which is a stage unique to the tournament. On it, the player had to defeat four Spiky Topmen by knocking them off of the course, using Mushrooms.

June 2008 Tournament 2 – Karts Only – This tournament took place on Mushroom Gorge. The player had to get the fastest possible time, however the player had to drive backwards all the way. The mushroom platforms were also at different locations.

July 2008 Tournament 1 – This tournament takes place on Coconut Mall. The player must collect all 50 coins as fast as possible.

July 2008 Tournament 2Wii-Wheel Only – This tournament takes place on DS Twilight House. The battle course now includes a finish line. It's a VS. race against other CPU players around the rooms of the house. There are 5 laps.

August 2008 Tournament 1 – This tournament takes place on N64 DK's Jungle Parkway. Race against Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, who are constantly throwing bananas on the track. The only items available are Green Shells, Triple Green Shells, and occasionally a Star.

August 2008 Tournament 2 – This tournament takes place on Koopa Cape. Drive trough all the gates in order. The number of gates is 25.

September 2008 Tournament 1Wii-Wheel Only – This tournament takes place on N64 Skyscraper. The battle course now includes a finish line. Try to finish in a short time. Watch out for the Bob-Omb Cars.

September 2008 Tournament 2Karts Only – This tournament takes place on SNES Mario Circuit 3. The player must collect all the coins on the track.

October 2008 Tournament 1 – This tournament takes place on Thwomp Desert. The player must use Bob-ombs to defeat the giant Pokey, who attacks by throwing segments of its body at the player.
Luigi Circuit
October 2008 Tournament 2Wii-Wheel Only and Karts Only – This tournament takes place on Luigi Circuit. The player must race against CPUs with NO items whatsoever.

November 2008 Tournament 1 – This tournament takes place on Maple Treeway. The player has to collect all fifteen coins that are hidden in the leaves. There are 4 Wigglers too.

November 2008 Tournament 2 – This tournament takes place on N64 Mario Raceway. Finish the course as quickly as possible. Only Golden Mushrooms will appear in Item Boxes. Many obstacles from other race courses will also appear in this tournament. Obstacles include oil from SNES Mario Circuit 3, and Pokeys from Dry Dry Ruins and DS Desert Hills, and there are more Piranha Plants.

December 2008 Tournament 1 – This tournament takes place on Wario's Gold Mine. The player needs to get past a rampaging Wiggler that's roaming around the course within 3 laps. Items that appear include Triple Mushrooms and Stars.

December 2008 Tournament 2 – This tournament takes place on DK Summit/DK's Snowboard Cross. The player has to go through all the gates that are on the course. There's a total of 25 gates.
2009 Tournaments

January 2009 Tournament 1 – This tournament takes place on Toad's Factory. It is a Time Trial race on the course, backwards. Item Boxes containing Mushrooms do appear in this tournament.
January 2009's 2nd tournament
January 2009 Tournament 2 – This tournament takes place on Funky Stadium. The player has to collect all 60 coins that are on the track. All Item Boxes contain Mushrooms.
February 2009 Tournament 1 – This tournament takes place on Block Plaza. It is a time trial race around the edge of the course. Some of the paths are blocked, so the player must use the slopes next to it. The player is given Triple Mushrooms to start the Time Trial, and obstacles include Goombas, pipes, and oil.

February 2009 Tournament 2Karts Only – This tournament takes place on GBA Bowser Castle 3. The player has to go through all the gates that are placed around the track. There are 30 gates total.
